Ian won a sponsored preceptorship in USA for the best case study presented at Annual Conference in August 2008 at Gold Coast.
Florida dermatologist and honorary ACSCM member, Tom Connelly, will host Ian in Florida for a week long preceptorship.
This valuable experience will include all aspects of diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer including cryodestruction, photodynamic treatment of AKs, skin biopsy and of course excisional surgery with flaps and graft. To provide a broader experience, Tom will arrange some time in with local colleague(s) who treat skin cancer. Tom pioneered delineating curettage and will no doubt demonstrate this valuable technique.
What is included in Ian's prize?
· Free accommodation in Tom’s own guest house in Stuart Florida. This is a beautiful mini apartment overlooking Tom’s swimming pool.
· $1000 (US) contribution towards airfares provided by Tom Connelly
· $1000 contribution towards airfares provided by ACSCM
