The Australasian College of Skin Cancer Medicine is the Professional body of skin cancer doctors in Australia and New Zealand. Find out more about ACSCM.
College supports Fellows and Members by providing training and continuing medical education in skin cancer management.
The College has set the standard for certification in the management of skin cancer in Australasia.
Citizens of Australia and New Zealand can be confident that their skin cancer will be managed well:
- from Certificate holders: - General Practitioners who have achieved a certified standard of knowledge in skin cancer recognition and management
- from College Diplomats: - Doctors who have reached a certified high level of expertise in dermoscopy, skin cancer surgery and other skin cancer management skills.
- from College Fellows: - Consultants with the comprehensive certified expertise and surgical skills to manage the majority of skin cancers including tumours on the nose, lips, ears, eyelids and other difficult areas of the body.
Before your doctor manages your skin cancer, ask your doctor if he / she has been certified with the knowledge and skills to do so.
