This MASTER series is being designed for patient and physician education. It is our belief that visual recognition of a Melanoma is the best approach in diagnosis (in the way that everyone recognizes an elephant from a photograph) and these pictures illustrate the differing appearances of a Melanoma.

Some photos have texta lines or dots around the melanoma. Ignore these.
