Dr Reader has worked full time in skin cancer medicine in Wollongong and Newcastle since 2002. He has actively undertaken training wherever possible in Australia to improve his skills and knowledge of skin cancer medicine and cutaneous oncological surgery. He currently holds the Diploma of skin cancer medicine from the Australasian College of Skin Cancer Medicine and is working towards his fellowship.
He was the New South Wales representative on the board since its inception in 2006 and in 2009 became the College Secretary.
