Honorary

Honorary membership and fellowship of ACSCM

Honorary member

The Australasian College of Skin Cancer Medicine will occasionaly award an honorary membership to an overseas based doctor who has made a substantial contribution to the College.

The doctor must already be a Fellow of another learned Medical College. They may be a dermatologist, surgeon, pathologist, anaesthetist, general practitioner etc,.

To date, only four such honorary memberships have been awarded by the College:

Dr. Thomas Connelly, Dermatologist, Florida, USA

Dr. Christiane Voit, Dermatologist, Berlin, Germany

Dr. Nancy Todes Taylor, Dermatologist, San Francisco, USA

Dr. Howard Steinman, Dermatologist, San Diego, USA

Honorary Fellow

The College may also award the higher honorary fellowship to an overseas based doctor who has:

  1. Demonstrated the level of expertise equivalent to a ACSCM fellowship
  2. Contributed substantially to the College at many levels over several years
  3. Demonstrated commitment to the long term academic future of our College

To date ACSCM has only one honorary fellow:
