Honorary member
The Australasian College of Skin Cancer Medicine will occasionaly award an honorary membership to an overseas based doctor who has made a substantial contribution to the College.
The doctor must already be a Fellow of another learned Medical College. They may be a dermatologist, surgeon, pathologist, anaesthetist, general practitioner etc,.
To date, only seven such honorary memberships have been awarded by the College:

Dr. Nancy Todes Taylor, Dermatologist, San Francisco, USA
Dr. Howard Steinman, Dermatologist, San Diego, USA
Professor J Meirion Thomas, Surgeon, London, UK
Dr. Terrence A Cronin, Sr, Dermatologist, Florida, USA
Dr. Markus Schwuerzer, Dermatologist, Berlin, Germany
Honorary Fellow
The College may also award the higher honorary fellowship to an overseas based doctor who has:
- Demonstrated the level of expertise equivalent to a ACSCM fellowship
- Contributed substantially to the College at many levels over several years
- Demonstrated commitment to the long term academic future of our College
To date ACSCM has only one honorary fellow:
